I've worked with John on two productions as a Producer. The first time was a short film called Hope in 2017 and the second time was on my promo for Imagine: Dance in 2018. No matter how organized (or unorganized) some of the shots for the day were, John applied himself with a calm and razor sharp focus that seemed like water off a duck's back.
His technicality is also mixed with a deep passion for storytelling, he is an auteur in the truest form. I would not hesitate to call him one of the best cinematographers in Perth currently and I sincerely hope that we can work again sometime soon.
On Imagine: Dance, John's team was an absolute joy to work with as well. Kept the mood on set fun and exciting throughout the day.
